Wellcome Trust: Mind the Funding Gap

Join Keith Spencer, PhD, from the UK’s Wellcome Trust, to learn about funding opportunities for translational research projects focused on unmet medical needs. Gap funds are available to support drug discovery projects from screen to clinic, and for diagnostics, vaccines, etc.

Keith Spencer, PhDBusiness Analyst, Wellcome Trust, UK
Prior to joining Wellcome Trust in 2011, Dr. Spencer worked for Arrow Therapeutics as a Group Leader for anti-infective drug discovery. Keith holds a DPhil in organic chemistry from Oxford University, where he worked under the supervision of Professor Sir Jack E. Baldwin. He subsequently worked as a postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Keith also holds a MChem in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews.
