CTSI KL2 Scholars Announced

The CTSI K Scholar Program is pleased to announce the CTSI KL2 Scholars selected from among 34 applications from highly accomplished junior faculty at UCSF to receive the KL2 Career Development Award beginning July 1, 2013:

In 2013-14, a total of 51 scholars are included in the CTSI K Scholars program, including 21 funded by the CTSI KL2 award and 30 funded by other career development awards. Dr. Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo directs the CTSI K Scholar Program.

The K Scholars program is part of CTSI’s Clinical and Translational Science Training (CTST) program, and supports junior faculty from all four UCSF schools. Resources include salary support, weekly works-in-progress and methodology seminars, and access to core faculty who provide expertise and guidance in research design, measurement and questionnaire design, study coordination, data management, biostatistical analysis, publishing and presenting research, and manuscript and grant writing.
