Virtual Home for CTSI.

We envision and implement a virtual ‘home’ for clinical and translational researchers at UCSF, providing tools, resources and a rich environment to facilitate collaborative efforts in idea generation, funding, design, implementation, analysis and communication of findings.

With the national stature of UCSF, the size of its research community and geographical distribution of the brick-and-mortar multiple ‘homes’ for research, Virtual Home’s charge is essential for CTSI to carry out it’s mission, but is also forward-looking and focused on innovation.

Strategic Goals:

1. Enhance opportunities for collaborative clinical and translational investigation at UCSF through communication, information services and technology-enhanced collaboration tools.

2. Provide a cohesive and engaging face of CTSI to CTSI leaders and administrators, the national health science research community and the public.
