The Clinical Research Hub is designed to strengthen and coordinate clinical research support across UCSF.
The Clinical Research Hub brings together complementary clinical research support services to make it easier for investigators and research staff to identify resources, connect with specialized expertise, and navigate challenges across the clinical research lifecycle. The Clinical Research Hub also works closely with institutional offices and partners to strengthen coordination, improve communication, streamline processes, and support continuous improvement across the clinical research enterprise.
The Clinical Research Hub supports the UCSF research community through four complimentary functional areas:
Clinical Research Support & Training
Supports the clinical workforce through the coordination of training, professional development, and knowledge sharing.
Participant Recruitment & Retention
Supports participant recruitment and retention through the Participant Recruitment Participant Program (PRP), including recruitment and community engaged consultations, EHR recruitment, social media recruitment, and participant retention resources.
Stewardship, Advocacy & Navigation
Provides navigation , operational guidance, institutional coordination, and cross-functional problem solving to help research teams navigate complex research challenges.
