Program Focus
  • To strengthen and expand the epidemiologic training available to students at UCSF that draws on the strengths of our faculty and the campus
  • To provide more in-depth training across a broad range of applications for the discipline of epidemiology and translational science including epidemiologic and biostatistical methods, genetic, social, and clinical epidemiology and disease-specific training in cancer, infectious disease, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and other diseases

  • For fall of 2010
  • Applicants should identify two to three possible mentors with whom they would like to study
  • Due to time constraints unofficial transcripts may be submitted, but official, sealed registrar-generated transcripts should be requested and submitted
  • Letters of recommendation may be submitted by email

Interviews:
  • Will be conducted following receipt of fully completed materials and acceptance to the program will be announced thereafter
  • Candidates cannot be officially accepted until we receive final approval for the program from the Office of the President of the University of California
