Dominica Randazzo Named CTO Associate Director

Dominica Randazzo has been appointed Associate Director of the Clinical Trials Operations (CTO) Office, effective July 10, 2023. 
  
Previously serving as Research Program Manager in the Department of Neurology at UCSF and Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, Dominica has over 12 years’ experience directing clinical research development and driving research productivity. She is a member of the Clinical Trialist Advisory Committee (CTAC), the Research Action Group for Equity (RAGE) Steering Committee, and of the CRC Council. Dominica also serves as an expert adviser and trainer for the CTO Training team.  
 
The CTO Office serves as the institutional point of contact for the UCSF clinical trials research community on topics relevant to improving clinical trials operations. In partnership with other relevant stakeholders, the CTO provides advocacy and stewardship of best practices and solutions to challenges that adversely impact clinical trials operations at UCSF. In her new role Dominica will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of program objectives, including reporting on trial activation metrics and providing corresponding impact analysis to develop recommendations for data-driven operational changes. 
 
Dominica earned a BS in Anthropology from UC Davis and is a SoCRA Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP).
