Study Team Mentorship Program

Purpose

The Study Team Mentorship Program is designed to provide peer-to-peer mentoring by pairing experienced clinical research mentors with mentees over a 6-month period.

The goals of the program are to provide connection and engagement, deeper understanding of clinical research at UCSF, and provide visibility into the clinical research career trajectory.

Mentee Eligibility Criteria

• Active in Clinical Research role at UCSF for at least 6-months
• Received support from Supervisor to participate in this program
• Interested in continuing Clinical Research role at UCSF
• Able to commit to the time needed to complete the program

Mentor Eligibility Criteria

• Must have 2-years of CRC experience
• Received support from Supervisor to participate in this program
• Interested in continuing Clinical Research role at UCSF
• Able to commit to the time needed to complete the program

Time Commitment

Mentors and mentees must be able to commit to spending 2-4 hours per month for 6-months:

• Monthly meetings (1 hour per month)
• Monthly mentee cohort meetings (1 hour per month)
• Attending a kickoff and close out meeting (1-2 hours each)
• Time spent engaging in professional development refletcion and activities (variable)
