7th Annual CTSI Retreat July 29th

CTSI: Accelerating Research to Improve Health, 2016-2021

In addition to providing an opportunity to mark another successful year, the 7th Annual CTSI Retreat will serve as a critical component in efforts to craft CTSI’s next five-year proposal, and it’s very important that the diversity of the UCSF community and our partners are represented in this process. The high-impact ideas and inspiration that emerge from the retreat will inform the proposal planning that officially begins in January 2014, so the work we do now is critical.

When: Monday, July 29th, 12-5pm (reception to follow)
Where
: Mission Bay Campus, Rutter Conference Center, Fisher Banquet Room
Please RSVP asap to Billy Davis ([email protected])

The retreat will focus on the review of select proposals offered through The Big Tent: CTSI 2016 NIH Renewal Proposal Launchpad, an Open Proposal opportunity to begin soliciting and developing ideas for possible inclusion in the next CTSI grant proposal. CTSI’s goal is to involve the broadest community possible to help identify and plan activities that will substantially improve translational research at UCSF, regionally, and nationally, and select promising proposals will be awarded planning grants in anticipation for Fall 2013.
