Shape the Development of Biospecimen Banking at UCSF and Participate in Survey

Goal: Two internal surveys are targeted to understand the current and future needs of UCSF faculty and staff who: (1) use biospecimens for research and (2) who participate in the collection and storage of biospecimens. Deadline: June 15, 2010 1) Please fill the Biospecimen "User" Survey, if you are a user, includes all faculty who currently use biospecimens in their research, or who may be interested in doing so in the future.  If you collect and/or store your own biospecimens for research, if you use a central repository to store and/or access biospecimens for research, or if you are interested in becoming involved in biospecimen research in anyway. Take the survey. 2) Please fill the Biospecimen "Banker" Survey, if you are faculty and staff who participate in the collection and storage of biospecimens, whether in a small, private lab (e.g. a researcher with a single freezer) or in a central repository, serving the storage and access needs of multiple users. For the purposes of this survey, “biospecimen repository” is defined as any storage area of biospecimens. We ask that this survey be completed once per repository, but members of the same repository are encouraged to work together.  Take the survey. Organized by: The UCSF Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI), the Biospecimen Banking Taskforce, and the greater UCSF campus
