In addition, UC Hastings offered resources related to legal issues for seniors. 65 enthusiastic health fair participants showed up to have students and faculty provide check-ups. The response from the residents was very positive, including comments that the health fair was "wonderful" and "a great job!" Student feedback was also positive. A nursing student commented, that she "enjoyed meeting residents and receiving professional guidance from the faculty." An optometry student noted that the best part of the experience was, "seeing and talking to elderly patients and talking with other professionals."
