Opportunity to Improve Research

Update: View all proposals awarded funding.

Do you have a pilot project in mind that would measurably improve the research environment at UCSF? Share your idea for possible funding, and browse your colleagues’ ideas to provide input or to collaborate. Offered through RAP, these CTSI pilot funding awards will range from $10K to $100K each for a maximum of $350K in this cycle.

  • Submit proposals for improving the conduct of translational research (Deadline: February 27);
  • Participate by reviewing and commenting on ideas, or joining teams, through March 12.

There are already some good ideas addressing issues such as:

  • Creating a new approach to testing cost-effective healthcare interventions;
  • Accelerating clinical research with an online patient recruitment core;
  • Implementing tools that clarify the overlap of quality and research studies.
